TECH: Heineken Pulls a Fast One On Soccer Fans
In their latest marketing ploy, Heineken decided to state a classical music concert/poetry reading on the same night as the epic soccer match between Real Madrid and MC Milan. By bringing in a group of 200 manipulative girlfriends, bosses, and professors they were able to coax over 1,000 soccer fans into missing the big game in order to attend the concert. Once there though, it was revealed that the game would be streamed on the big screen via SkySport with Heineken being the hero behind it all.
